this is a variation of the sound off thread.

A little more revealing is the placement of the ascendents ruler which is venus for all of us with libra ascendent.

so where is your venus?

mine is in aries 7th house and the sabian symbol is the music of the spheres

    Ummm, my Venus is in the first degree of Aquarius in the fourth house. It's also in trine with mars and pluto.

    I seem to have more than the average number of trines in my chart. Also trines mercury, saturn, uranus; jupiter, saturn, uranus; sun, moon, MC...

    So what does that mean for me? I've seen you're quite knowledgible on astrology. I must admit, I use "The Only Astrology Book You'll Ever Need" and got my chart free from astrodienst at astro.com. lol

    I'd also be curious to know what it means if my AC is in conjuntion with Pluto. Is that normal? Is it a necessarily a good thing (as conjuctions are supposed to be)? Or does it just make me odder than average.

      I'm not as well versed in astrology. Can someon explain in a little more detail? As far as I know, my Venus is in Leo in the 11th house, but I don't know about the rest of the stuff.

        Venus in Leo in the 11th house offers some beauty and harmony to the arrangement though. With Venus in Leo you’re probably become quite a show off when you’re attempting to make yourself attractive. This placement of Venus also gives you a great inclination towards the arts, ESPECIALLY performing arts.

    My Venus is in Aquarius I believe in the 5th house. Same sign as my north node. What is a "sabian symbol"?

      venus-10th house leo conjunct with merc and saturn!

      a sabian symbols are a break down of the signs by degree. some astrologers use this system similarly to the iching.

    Venus in Gemini in 8th house, opposed mars in sag in 2nd. Sigh.

    And mars is conjunct neptune in scorpio.

    Does anyone know how having the same ruler of an ascendant and sun sign (Venus for both) influences a person?

    Sun: Leo. Moon: Libra. Ascendant: Libra.
    Venus: Cancer in 9th house conjunct MC, neatly squared.

No wonder people love my home and why I hardly ever chose to leave it! I'm a Homemaker! I love being Home! Home for me truly is where My heart is! HAA! I've even been trying to get my husband to agree to putting up a large painted and wooden heart with wings up on the front of our house where everyone can see it! But no go. Yet. With my libra ascendant I pretty much get what I want with him! :>) But that's not a bad thing. What I usually want benefits him and most everybody else.
