Anyone my age (around 38) should have Uranus retrograde in their first house (I think). Uranus is about to go retrograde for the next few months. How does that usually manifest in your life?

Mama Gaea
Im 38 and have Uranus in H12.
The first house is ascending the horizen over a two hour period including dawn. Within a full day all twelve signs will move through that elliptic (?).
In other words people born around sunrise (give or take an hour) will have Uranus in the first....if they're your age..
hope this makes sense to you. -

Re: Anybody got Uranus in their First House?
Mon, July 6, 2009 - 9:36 PMI wasn't born anywhere near sunrise. I was born at 7:15 at night. So, your presumption is wrong. Signs will change in the first house, the planet should still be around the same place. The location of the planet would probably also depend on where you were born. I was born on the west coast. If someone was born somewhere else, I can see the planet being in a different house. -

Mon, July 6, 2009 - 11:24 PM<<The Ascendant, otherwise known as the Rising Sign, marks the beginning of the chart as it is the point of the ecliptic by sign and degree that was ascending or rising over the Eastern horizon at the time of birth. It is the point of the intersection of the horizon and the ecliptic. It is the most important angle of the chart as it sets the chart by way of the other angles and the house cusps. Whichever house system is used to calculate the birthchart, the ascendant will be the same. The Ascendant also forms the cusp of the first house. It represents the way we present ourselves to others and how they see us on first impressions>>

perhaps your information is incorrect.
It is no presumption to state that the first house is directly in relation to the Eastern horizon,
but I was wrong because yeah, of course things keep rising!
The confusion is probably due to my being born in the southern hemisphere...
whoops, sorry, wasnt any help at all...
